At Cocoro, we have 2 absorption levels: Moderate and High.
Cocoro menstrual panties can be used as a substitute for your conventional disposable pads and pantyliners, or combined with a menstrual cup or tampon. You decide which level of absorption best suits your needs at any moment. How to choose the absorption level of my Cocoro panties?Choosing the right absorption level for your Cocoro panties is essential to feeling comfortable and secure during your menstrual cycle. Here is a guide to help you make the best decision:
1. Know your menstrual flow
❍ Light flow: If you have irregular periods or flows that are lighter, consider panties with moderate absorption. These are perfect for the days leading up to your period or at the end of your cycle.
❍ Moderate flow: If your flow is more consistent, moderate absorption panties are ideal. They provide the necessary protection during the middle days of your cycle.
❍ Heavy flow: For those days when the flow is more intense, opt for high absorption panties. These offer you greater security and peace of mind by absorbing more flow.
❍ Sleep panties: Our high absorption panties have the highest absorbent part in the front and back and are ideal for nighttime. They will allow you to sleep worry-free and much more comfortably than your disposable pads.
❍ Urinary leakage panties: Choose Cocoro moderate absorption for urinary leaks due to effort (coughing, laughing, exercise, etc.) or high absorption if you sometimes have trouble reaching the bathroom without leaking a few drops.
2. Consider the duration of your cycle
If your menstruation lasts more than five days, it is advisable to have a variety of panties that adapt to different levels of flow throughout the cycle. Use high absorption for the first 2 days of your cycle and moderate absorption for the rest of the days.
3. Experiment and adjust
Every body is unique, and you may need to try different combinations of Cocoro panties to find the one that best suits you. Start by trying them at home and see which absorption level fits best with your cycle, how many hours they last without needing a change... and discover how menstrual panties fit into your cycle. Some people use them only for sleeping, others only for exercising, some women prefer absorbent panties over disposable pantyliners, while others have completely replaced their pads with Cocoro panties.
4. Care and maintenance
Remember to follow the washing and care instructions to maintain the effectiveness of the absorption of your panties. Good hygiene ensures the durability and performance of your Cocoro absorbent panties.

Do you know how much you really bleed during your menstrual cycle?
On average, between 30 and 40 ml of blood is lost during each menstruation, although up to 80 ml is considered "normal." This blood mixes with vaginal fluid, shed endometrial tissue, and cervical mucus.
The use of disposable products like pads and tampons can distort our perception of bleeding. In pads, the blood spreads, darkens as it dries, and seems more abundant. Tampons, by absorbing and expanding, also give the impression of a greater volume.
Additionally, having to change pads and tampons frequently throughout the day can increase the feeling of bleeding more.
This demonstration helps you better understand how much you really bleed during your period. Is it more or less than you thought?
In a survey conducted through our social media account with more than 31,000 followers, 91% of women marked that they thought their flow was heavier than what is shown in the video. Only 9% responded that it was just what they thought, and no one responded that they believed they bled less than what is shown.
