How to Wash Your Absorbent Panties in 2 easy steps
Caring for your Cocoro panties is really easy. You can wash them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry (or by hand if you prefer). They are reusable, so you put them on, wash them, and put them back on! It's that easy.
Remember to wash your Cocoro before using them for the first time.
This step helps activate the absorption capacity of the Cocoro panties.
Step 1: Hand Wash or Machine Wash, max 30ºC
◆ Inside outYou can wash your Cocoro by hand or in the washing machine, whichever you prefer. At a maximum temperature of 30ºC to avoid damaging the absorbent technical fabrics. We recommend washing the Cocoro inside out to clean them thoroughly.
◆ Mesh Laundry Bag If you wash your Cocoro in the washing machine, it's recommended to put them in a mesh laundry bag. Your Cocoro will stay in perfect condition by preventing their seams and stitching from catching on buttons, velcro, and zippers from the rest of the laundry.
◆ No fabric softener
Fabric softener leaves a spectacular scent on your clothes, but it damages the fabrics. It adheres to the fibers, clogging them, so the fabric can't perform its function.
Step 2: Air Dry
The environment and your wallet will thank you. Avoid subjecting your Cocoro to high temperatures. If necessary, you can put them in the dryer. Make sure to do it at a medium temperature so they don't lose their effectiveness.
Up to 60 Washes
You can reuse your Cocoro panties for up to 60 washes without losing their effectiveness. That means your Cocoro panties will work at full capacity for between 2 and 4 years. It will depend on how many times you use them each month. After that, their absorbent and retention capacity will gradually decrease.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I soak the menstrual panties before washing them?
It's not essential. You can leave them with the rest of the dirty laundry and wash them with the rest of the laundry. The most important thing is not to soak them for hours to avoid bad odors in the fabric and deterioration.
Can I wash the menstrual panties with the rest of my clothes without the risk of staining them?
Yes, you can put them with the rest of your clothes without a problem. When you take out the laundry, all your clothes will be clean. Remember, it's better if you use a laundry bag to protect them!
