Cocoro period pants have a lifespan of between 3 and 4 years, which is approximately 60 washes (depending on usage). After this time, the technical fabric will begin to lose its absorbent properties. However, this does not mean you have to discard your Cocoro; you can continue using them on lighter days or even as regular underwear!

At Cocoro, we have 3 types of absorption available: High, Moderate, and Light.
Choose a Moderate Absorption Pant if...
- You want to combine them with a tampon or menstrual cup.- You will use them as a single product and your flow is moderate or light.
- You want a substitute for your panty liners.
- You will use them only on lighter flow days.
- You suffer from stress urinary incontinence (when coughing, laughing, sneezing, etc.).
- You need reusable pants for postpartum with light bleeding.
Choose a High Absorption Pant if...
- You will use period pants as a single product and your flow is heavy.- You want to invest in pants that work for heavy flow days and lighter flow days.
- You experience urinary leaks and sometimes struggle to reach the bathroom without a few drops escaping.
- You wish to use Cocoro pants for postpartum with heavy bleeding.

Organic cotton represents only 1% of the world's cotton production. It is one of the most sustainable and beneficial materials for sustainable fashion, using 91% less water compared to conventional cotton. It is a fabric free from pesticides and harmful substances in its dyeing process. It is resistant, elastic, soft to the touch, and allows good breathability, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
